ALBERT FIELDS
Albert Fields, aged 43 years, died Sunday about 12 o'clock, after a long illness of consumption, at his home near Concord.
Albert Fields was born in this county August 23, 1867, and was a son of Harrison Fields. He was united in marriage to Miss Hark Pugh, who survives with six children. Three sons and three daughters. He is also survived by his father and one sister, Mrs. Carey Yelton. Deceased and been afflicted with this dread disease for the past three years and had not been able to perform any kind of work for some time. He was a patient sufferer and expressed a willingness to go when he realized the end was near.
Mr. Fields was a highly respected citizen and a man in whom his neighbors and friends had the utmost confidence. He was a loyal and upright man in all his dealings, and leaves behind a record to which his family can point with pride. He was a good husband and indulgent father, and will be greatly missed in the community in which he spent his whole life.
Funeral services were held Monday, and interment took place in the Lenoxburg cemetery. The high esteem in which he was held was attested by the large concourse of sorrowing friends who attended the last sad rites.
