MAYNARD AIDE, 79, Rt. 3, Dodgeville, died on Wednesday, November 15, 1989 at Bloomfield Manor, Dodgeville. He was born on May 23, 1910 in Avoca, to Edward Aide and May O'Brien. He was married in 1935 to the former Nona Roberts. he was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nona on March 14, 1987; a son, Dean; and a brother, James. Survivors include eight sons; Robert and Kenneth, both of Portage, Larry and Gary, both of Montfort, Jeff, Deerfield, Mike, Mineral Point, Gene, Milwaukee, and Jerry, Sun Prairie; four daughters, Mary (William) Cather, Freeport, Ill., Susan (Dan ) Hansen, Madison, and Janet (William ) Amenda, Mineral Point; twenty-eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Laverne (Janet) Madison, Austin (Mable), Seattle, Wash., Lawrence (May Belle) Prairie du Sac, and Milton (Hattie), Milwaukee; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lulloff-Peterson Funeral Home in Dodgeville. Fr. Henry Kalscheuer officiated, with burial in the East Side Cemetery in Dodgeville. A visitation was held at the Lulloff-Peterson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18 from 9 a.m. until service time.
