Mr. Campbell, the son of the late Joseph Campbell, was a native of Nelson County and was 74 years old, but had lived in Albermarle for a quarter of a century, where he was a fruit dealer and mail carrier. He died Saturday after an extended illness. He was twice married, both wives preceding him to the grave.
Two daughters and five sons survive, Mrs. A. G. Laster, Harry A. and Morris E. Campbell, of Crozet; Mrs. C. E. Austin, of Alexandria; Bland A. Campbell, of East Norwalk, Conn.; Marion H. Campbell, of Roanoke, and Kinkle A. Campbell, of Waynesboro.
