Fannie B. "Snooks" Anderson Lawrence, 96, passed away Saturday January 29, 2011 at The Orchard in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be 2:00pm today at North Park Presbyterian Church, 4624 Old Canton Rd, Jackson, MS preceded by visitation at 1:00pm. Burial will be 4:00pm in Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland is assisting with the arrangements.

Snooks was a former member of Alta Woods Presbyterian Church and a member of North Park Presbyterian Church. She retired after a long career with Bell South.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hiram Anderson and Roy W. Lawrence.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Miller (Wayne) of Madison; step-daughter, Delaine Griffin (Jim) of Florence, AL; step-son, Roy Lawrence II of Houston, TX; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to North Park Presbyterian Church, 4624 Old Canton Rd., Jackson, MS 39211.
