Edna Irene Schnittker, 94, Bloomington, died peacefully at 1 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 22, 2011) at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.
She was born June 28, 1916 in Breckenridge, Michigan to William and Edith Leone Palmer DeBolt. She married William "Bill" H. Schnittker in July 1938 in Chicago. He died in August 1985. She was also preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Dale, Elwin, Lester, Paul, Bobby and Leonard DeBolt and six sisters, Bessie Madeline DeBolt, Mildred Mizorek, Mabel DeBolt, Helen Hendrickson, Nina Marshall and Alice Harding.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mary (Thomas Delforge) Munson, Normal, and Sharon Schnittker, Bloomington; two grandchildren, Molly (Bill) Dryer, Bloomington, and Peggy Munson, Massachusetts; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa and Chelsea Dryer; one sister-in-law, Lou DeBolt, Chicago; one brother-in-law, Robert Marshall, North Point, Fl. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
