Claudie Aaron, 70, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Midland. He was born March 19, 1940, in Sherman, Texas to Hazel and Claudie Aaron, Sr. He grew up in Big Spring. He married Johnnie Fay Davis on May 6, 1960 in Midland. They have been residents of Midland for 30 years. He worked most of his life in the oil field as a truck driver and pumper. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Fay Aaron of Midland; sister-in-law, Linda Aaron; one nephew, Ronald; and one niece, Rhonda. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sheri Gene Aaron; and one brother, Ronald G. Aaron, Sr. The family suggests memorials to MDA of the Permian Basin - Children's Division, 600 N. Marienfeld, Suite 112, Midland, TX, 79701 or Hospice of Midland, 911 W. Texas, Midland, TX, 79701.
