Hastings resident Anne Bartholomew, 57, of 520 Forest Blvd., died Saturday, May 25, 2002, at BryanLGH Medical Center West in Lincoln as a result of an auto accident.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at French Memorial Chapel at Hastings College in Hastings with the Rev. David B. McCarthy officiating. A reception will follow the service at Hastings College. Private family burial will be at a later date. Condolences may be sent to www.lbvfh.com. Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Bartholomew was born March 2, 1945, in Orange County, N.J. to Philip L. and Mae (Carroll) Bartholomew. She served in the U.S. Air Force and moved to Adams County over 30 years ago. She graduated from Hastings College and worked for Mid-Nebraska Individual Services, Inc.

Survivors are three daughters, Christine Bender of Lufkin, Texas, Lori Konen of Juniata and Cheri Shaver of Elmdale, Kan.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be given to Hastings College for Anne Bartholomew Nature Sanctuary.
