She was preceded in death by her parents; two infants and two sisters, Roberta Fields and Barbara Edwards
Evelyn was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Sherman and St. John's Women's Society. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, enjoyed traveling and was president of the ORA Condo Association in Melbourne Beach, FL for two years. She was a lifelong resident of the Springfield Area. She worked for Franklin Life Insurance Company and retired as a rural mail carrier for the US Postal service after 20 years and then retired from the Williamsville State Bank after 10 years as a teller.
Visitation: 3-7 pm, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home with a lie in state from 9:30-10:15 am, Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. John Vianney in Sherman
Funeral Mass: 10:30 am, Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. John Vianney in Sherman with Monsignor Carl Kemme officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John Vianney Church or St. John's Hospice.
