MUNCIE--James H. Bilbrey, 83, was born on April 3, 1927, and went home to be with his Heavenly Father, and his loving wife of 62 years, Lola, on February 23, 2011.
James proudly served his country as a Sergeant Major in the United States Army, 243rd Infantry, 86th Division, and retired from Borg Warner.

Survivors include two daughters; a brother; two sisters;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lillian (Beaty) Bilbrey; his wife of 62 years, Lola E. (Poore) Bilbrey; a daughter, Diana Castle; two brothers, John and Leonard Bilbrey; and a grandson, Keith Johnson.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Parson Mortuary with Bishop Richard Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery. Miliary honors will be provided by Delaware County Honor Guard at the cemetery. Friends may call at Parson Mortuary one hour prior to time of service on Saturday.
