Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Sullivan conducting services. Entombment in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Vera is survived by a daughter, Kathy Noto; a stepdaughter, Paula Smith (Pete); three sons, Steven Brent, Daren Brent and Jerry Brent; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Allatto; parents, Herman and Lillie Belle Bates; a sister, Dorothy Bates Day, and an infant brother, J. W. Bates.
