Luc Coté and Lucien Coté are the same person. According to PRDH, Luc was born around 1800, while Lucien was born 7 Jan 1803. Lucien never marries and there is no death record. On the other hand, Luc marries Julie Benoit in 1828, and dies in 1835.
There is a daughter born in 1801, and another daughter in 1804. The 1803 date fits right in, and there are more than nine months between births. Also, there is a son born in Dec 1799. All of the dates work together to prove a duplicate entry under different names (Luc – Lucien).
PRDH is in constant state of flux as they keep adding new records every day? They didn't have a fixed birth date for Luc, but they found one for Lucien, and attributed it to Lucien and not Luc.
