Grace Fegely Kibler, 85, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute.
She was born Dec. 3, 1917, in White Rock, Okla., the daughter of Clarence Clinton "C.C." and Lula Denny Sloan. She grew up in Iola.
She enjoyed volunteering with the Red Cross and Grey Ladies. She was active with Zion Lutheran Church and was an accomplished artist and art teacher.
In 1934, she married Harris Fegely of Humboldt. He died in 1958.
In 1962, she married Marion Kibler. He died in 1988.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Sloan, Chanute, and Alvena Sloan, Winfield; three nieces, Kathy Thompson, Chanute, Linda Trainor, Oklahoma City, and Ann Stillwell, Bella Vista, Ark.; caregivers, Beth and Dale Holloway, Chanute; and great nephews and a great niece.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons and two brothers, Ray and Ralph Sloan.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Zion Lutheran Church.
Memorials to the Sunshine Preschool of Zion Lutheran Church or the American Red Cross may be left with the funeral home.
Gibson-Koch-Friskel Chapel, Chanute, is in charge of arrangements.
