Della F. McMullen, 80, formerly of 2218 N. Flora died at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at Manor Care at Riverview in East Peoria.

Born Jan. 5, 1917, in Windber, Pa., to Vitaliano and Mary Josepha Iocca Frasco, she married Ernest Grant McMullen on Jan. 27, 1940, in Peoria. He died March 12, 1978, in Peoria.

Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy M. of Peoria and Daniel J. of Washington; one brother, Arthur Frasco of Berkeley, Calif.; one sister, Ellen Murphy of Ventura, Calif.; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was a nutrition educator for the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service, retiring in 1981. She received the Outstanding Program Assistant Award.

She was a charter member of Howett Street Christian Church and a member of its women's group.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Cumerford-Endsley-Diggle Funeral Home. The Rev. Dwight Winnett will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and one hour before services, both at the funeral home. Entombment will be in American Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to her church.
