The body of Curtis R. Andrews, 65, was found Friday morning in an outbuilding near his home at Wooden Shoe Village.
Coroner Gerald Miner, who investigated with Sheriff Lorin Leitner and State Trooper Walter Barkell, said Andrews apparently died after a heart attack Thursday evening.
Mr. Andrews, who lived alone, was found by his grandson, Charles Pollard, of Clio, and Robert McGinnis, of Millington, when they arrived at the Andrews home on a deer hunting trip.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Miner Funeral Home with the Rev. F. E. Voller officiating. Burial was in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Andrews was an auto-bumper-painter and had lived in the county for the past 10 years. He was a widower. He was born in Ohio March 28, 1891.
Survivors are three daughters; eight grandchildren; and one brother. Gladwin County Record dated 11-28/1956.
