Judy K. Hawkins, 66, of St. Petersburg, FL, went home to her Lord Monday, January 31, 2011. Judy was born in Lima, OH and moved to St. Petersburg in 1956 from Middlesboro, KY. She was a 1963 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School. She retired as the office secretary at Grace Community Church where she was a member for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, R. W. "Skip"; 2 daughters, Angie D. (Chuck) Wicker, and Tammie L. Hawkins both of St. Petersburg; 1 sister, Pat (Dave)Rees of Snohomish, WA; 2 brothers, Jerry Mason of Merritt Island, FL, David Mason of Bushnell, FL; 6 grandchildren, Jesse (Jenna), Ruth, Paul, Joseph, Laura, Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 4, 2011 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Grace Community Church. Private interment will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
