Funeral service for Mr. Adam Daniel Brown, 19, of Alexander City will be Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Cemetery. Dr. John Watkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenview Cemetery.

Mr. Brown passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 1, 1992 in Richmond, Kentucky to Gary Wayne Brown and Kristie Guice Brown. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and had a black belt in karate. His family described him as a well-mannered young man who always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his mother, Kristie Guice Brown; father, Gary Wayne Brown and brother, William Aaron Brown, all of Alexander City; grandparents, Ann and Jerry Hammond of Goodwater and Earl and Alice Guice of Alexander City; great-grandmother, Katie Mae Guice of Alexander City; aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady and Annie Brown; great-grandfather, Richard Guice; and great grandparents, George and Lena Hodge.

Radney Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
