Born June 28, 1928 in Table Rock, he was a son of the late Clarence D. and Pauline E. Miller Cool. He was married to Carol Godfrey Cool for 50 years on March 27, 1998.
Mr. Cool was a member of the Missionary Bible Baptist Church. He was employed for over 15 years with Burnell W. Moul and Son Contractors as a carpenter. He also spent many hours farming.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Judy L. Mickley of York, Diane E. Bennett of Fairmont, WV, and Sylvia C. Yongue of Hanover; Six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Viola Ingram of Hamptead, MD. and Mabel Garrett of Hanover; and three brothers, John Cool of Brodbecks and Edward Cool and Guy "Sam" Cool, both of Hanover.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 11 am at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with Dale Therit officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Carmel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hanover.
Friends may call the funeral home Monday evening.
