Don Adamson 74 years old passed away on February 24, 2011.
He was born October 29, 1936 to William and LaVern Adamson. Married Alice Kennedy December 29, 1961 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Don served in the US Army, and served an LDS mission to Norway. He was a long time employee of the U of U and retired after 37 years.
Don loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, cross country skiing and camping at Woodland. He enjoyed visiting his sister Betty in St. George, going on cruises and to Hawaii.
He is survived by his children; Nancy Fahey, Clint Adamson, Donna Brockband and Garth Adamson, grandchildren; Kenneth Woods, Sean Nichols, Thomas Nichols and Todd Brockband, and sister Betty Potter. Preceded in death by his wife, Alice, 2 brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Butler 1st Ward, 2695 E. Fort Union Blvd (7200 S.) Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. and Wednesday 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment Mt. View Memorial Park.
