Albert L. Barbezat

Services for Albert Louis Barbezat, 89, Nampa, who died Wednesday evening in a Nampa nursing home, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Alsip Funeral Chapel. The Rev. I. L. Shaver of the Kuna Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Barbezat was born April 21, 1876, at Danvers, Ill., and was reared in Nebraska and Eastern Colorado. He homesteaded near Filer in 1910, and moved back to Colorado in 1920. He lived in Washington before returning to Idaho in 1934 to make his home in Nampa. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Curry of Meridian, and Mrs. Helen Thompson, Eugene, Ore.; five grandchildren, Gene Barbezat, Boise, Don Barbezat in Maryland, Tommy Thompson of Reno, Mrs. Rosemary Loomis, Seattle, and Mrs. Kay Bivens, Meridian; one sister, Mrs. Sophia Aman of Nampa and one brother, Louis Barbezat of California; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Fred Barbezat of Meridian, and his wife, Mollie C. Barbezat, Sept. 10, 1949.
