Glenn G. Meyer, he was born Sept. 9, 1925, on the family farm to George and Johanna (Heitshusen) Meyer. He attended Cuming County Rural School District 7 and graduated from Wisner High School in 1942.
He married Alice Graber on Aug. 3, 1947. He farmed east of Wisner until retiring in 1973. He then went on to drive truck for Doescher Transfer in Beemer, Husker Concrete of Wisner and Gray Carriers of Norfolk before retiring.
Survivors include: three sons, Jon (and wife, Jane) Meyer of Fremont, Jerry (and wife, Beth) Meyer and Jay Meyer, all of Wisner; a daughter, JoAnne Meyer of Norfolk; brother-in-law, Levon Spath of Houston; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a son and five brothers and sisters.
