Robert C. Flock, 71, of Nampa, died Monday, May 16, 1994, at his home of natural causes. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa, with Richard Sutton, minister of the Caldwell Church of Christ, officiate. Services are under the direction of Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mr. Flock was born Sept. 19, 1922, at Fruitland, a son of Paul L. and Lisle M. Duell Flock, and moved with his family to Harper, Ore., where he grew up and attended school. He farmed with his grandfather for a time, then served in the U.S. Navy during the latter part of World War II. He married Ruby L. Jones Sept. 4, 1945, at Seattle, Wash. After his discharge, they moved to Vallejo, Calif., where he worked in the shipyards for several years. They moved to Kuna in 1959, where he engaged in farming. He retired and they moved to their home on Cherry Lane in 1978.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby L. Flock of Nampa; one son and his wife, Kenneth and Sherry Flock of Nampa; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Paula J. Ivie, and Patricia and Ken Cooper, all of Nampa; Nancy L. and Larry Barnum of Weiser; two half brothers, Bill Wyatt Flock and Tom Leighton Flock, both of Boise; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one half brother.
