John Clark
NAMPA — John Clark, 85, Route 4, Nampa, a longtime Nampa resident, died Saturday morning in a local hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Clark was born March 20, 1883 and reared in Knoxville, Iowa. He came to Nampa in 1905. He married Rosa Belle Fike, Jan. 27, 1907, in Nampa, and they farmed south of here. They resided on the present farm for the past 50 years. He retired from active farming several years ago.
Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Clark, are three sons, Arthur Clark, Route 3, Nampa, Murill Clark, Artesia, Calif., and Roy Clark, Burns, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Velma Barningham of Boise; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Harold Clark, in 1936.
Services will be conducted at the Alsip Chapel at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. John Hunter of the Church of the Brethren will officiate. Interment will be at Kohlerlawn.
