Lizzie died at the home of her brother-in-law, Daniel Sewell, on 417 Baker St. where she was living at the time. She was Sewell's assistant in Sonora, California where he was a pioneer photographer at Sewell's Art Gallery before the entire family removed to San Francisco in 1879. Lizzie continued to live with the Sewell family until her death and worked for Sewell as his bookkeeper for his San Francisco photographic studios. [by Brad Reinhardt (47216819)]
