E.J.G. Bloemendaal, one of the earliest settlers in Sioux County, passed away at his home in Orange City, on Wednesday morning, Sept. 1st. HE was born on April 18, 1838, at Veldwijk, Netherlands, came to United States in 1867. Was married in 1872, twelve children blessed this union, one dying in infancy. The funeral was held last Saturday afternoon at the Christ Reformed Church in Orange City, of which he was elder the past two years.
