Notes:

- According to the history of Waitsfield, VT, Amos (Lincoln's father), was married three times. His second marriage was to Martha Lewis, June 30, 1811. Martha died Aug. 14, 1818. Going by these dates and Lincoln's birth date, Martha was probably Lincoln's mother.

- On Lincoln's death record his mother is listed as Patty. My possibly theories are that "Patty" was: 1) a nickname, 2) a first or middle name of Martha, or 3) simply incorrect from whoever supplied the information on Lincoln's death record.
