Rosa Zoeller Eberz was my grandmother. I have the most wonderful memories of her as a child. She was sweet, a good cook and loved her family. She had a hard life as a child - both her parents died of the flu and she was put in an orphanage; later her sister Margaret took her out and raised her.She married my grandfather in Buffalo, moved to Syracuse and raised her five sons - Andy, Al, George, Robert and Jack. George was my father. She was the only woman in a male household and she was truly a saint. She suffered multiple strokes as she became older and was cared for by her husband and two sons.
