Born in Canton, China on September 11, 1922, he settled in America in 1939 at the age of seventeen. He is an honored World War II Veteran who served his country with admiration and worked the majority of his life as a chef at Brennan's Restaurant in Berkeley.
Devoted husband to late Ching Kit for fifty-three years and loving father of Grace, Shirley, Spencer, and Susan; sons-in-law Vincent Chin and Marvin Jew and daughter-in-law Nancy. His strong determination and generous heart proudly lives on in his legacy of twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
His smile and presence will always be remembered. WE ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU DEARLY.
Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service @ 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Evergreen Mortuary of McAvoy O'Hara Co., 4545 Geary at 10th Avenue.
Interment at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma.
