Harry, 71, died at 4:00 a.m., at Baton Rouge Senior Health Service Community.

He was a son to Harry and Nellie (Williams) Coppler. On Apr 10, 1965, he married Faye Coppler, who survives in Lima.

He retired in 2009 as a warehouse man from Warehouse Association and had also worked at Cira Produce. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany during peacetime. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, American Legion Post 96, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie, 370 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199. He enjoyed watching football and Westerns on television. Most of all he loved his family and friends.

Survivors also include a son, Bryan (Jennifer) Coppler, of Upper Sandusky; four daughters, Brenda Lhamon and Beverly Coppler, both of Lima, Barbara Tippie, of Delphos, and Angela (Shaun) Rourke, of Butler, Pa.; two brothers, Bud Coppler and George (Dianna) Coppler, both of Lima; five sisters, Florence Wireman and Ethel Cira, both of Wapakoneta, Pearl Crawford and Mary Davis, both of Lima, and Edith Green, of Cridersville; three grandchildren, Timothy and Katelyn Coppler and Ethan Rourke; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Andy Coppler; and a sister, Hanna Miller.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Hall will officiate.
