OK it is official. Mackenzie's Celebration of Life will be

Sunday, March 13th at 2pm

Calvary Chapel of Boynton Beach

3190 Hypoluxo Rd Boynton Beach, FL 33436

Please call us at (561) 452-0550 or 452-1115 if you get lost (or anytime you feel like saying hello).
(Take I95 to Hypoluxo Rd. Go West on Hypoluxo, cross Congress and start looking on your left side for Calvary Chapel. It's before the school. You will need to Uturn back to it. If you get to the school or the 7-11 and the High School at Lawrence Rd, or Military Trail you went too far.)

This is a Celebration of Life, NOT a funeral. We want to share a photo slideshow, have you hear Amanda, one of the amazing volunteers from the hospital, who sang at Kenzie's bedside. We will release balloons afterwards. Short and simple, that's my hope. Please bring your kids. Please dress as you feel comfortable. No black! I'll be in jeans and flipflopsโ€ฆas always. Mackenzie loved people, her favorite color changed each time you asked her because there were so many beautiful colors. I hope to see the colors of the rainbow. Mackenzie loved sparkles and glitter and her pink hair and her jeweled Twinkletoe sneakers with rhinestones. Just BE the beautiful people that you are, who prayed for our Mackenzie and help us send her a bunch of balloons, every color of the rainbow.

She was cremated and will be interred later this summer when it's warm and sunny in upstate NY and we have lots of free time to visit our family and cousins near there. She'll be next to my Dad and his sister, who both had cancer, and she was happy to know that she'll always be next to Grandma who will join her someday in the Bennett family plot. We plan to sprinkle her ashes in the ocean at some point and will do it from the Bahamas Celebration cruiseship that she so loved. But later. It's Spring Break for the kids and we just want to get in the car and spend some time together as a family with no schedule whatsoever and make the week all about Alicia, Anthony and Chris.
