Elma Kaski was born in Fitchburg on August 29, 1918, a daughter of the late Erkki Kaski and Ilmi (Luoma) Kaski, and had lived in Newton for many years before moving to Sharon in 1983. Until her retirement she had worked as an assembler for TRW Company in Newton. In her spare time she enjoyed line dancing, square dancing, bowling, and travelling.
Elma was the wife of the late Richard J. Gogan and the mother of the late Nancy Gogan.
She was survived by her children, Diane M. Gogan of Sharon, Peter J. Gogan and his wife, Carolyn St. Jean-Gogan, of Greenville, Rhode Island, Paula Gogan-Porter and her husband, Dennis Porter, of Penacook, New Hampshire, her sister, Gertrude Arvo of Fitchburg, her grandson, Craig Gogan of Greenville, Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews.
