Funeral services for Haskell Thomas "Hack" Lang, 83, Sachse, were held December 26 at 1 p.m. in the Eubank Funeral Home Chapel in Canton, wit Rev. Bryon Booth officiating.
Burial was in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Van.
Lang died December 22 in a Garland hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born October 30, 1907, in Swan and spent most of his life in Van Zandt County, but lived in Sachse four years. He was a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lee Hopkins Lang, in 1989.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Braunson, Sachse, and Patricia Dunaway, Austin; two brothers, Exton Lang, Lindale, and Carroll Lang, Wills Point; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
