Mrs. Creamer is survived by a son, Mathew Elmer Creamer, III and his wife, Bonnie; a grandson, Matthew E. Creamer, IV; a granddaughter, Mary Elisabeth Creamer ; two sisters, Marvie Ethelyn Hepner Buzby and Thelma Josephine Hepner Trout; a brother, Richard (Dick) Martin Hepner; six nephews, Winfield Dickenson Buzby, Jr., Kenneth Herbert Trout, David Martin Trout, Richard (Rick) Parvin Hepner, Todd Martin Hepner and Scott Jacob Hepner; two nieces, Barbara Ann Buzby Ernst and Beverly Ethelyn Buzby Moore; five great nieces, six great nephews, seven great-great nieces and ten great-great nephews.
A graduate of Bridgeton High School class of 1939, she received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Rowan University and a M.S. degree in library science, also from Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. Her career as an educator for 25 years included 17 years as an elementary classroom teacher and eight years as a media specialist in the Upper Deerfield Township, N.J. education system until retirement in 1984.
Mrs. Creamer and her late husband moved to Salisbury in 1996. She has been an active member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed doing volunteer work, teaching Sunday school and participating in Bible studies. Family and friends were especially dear to her and she enjoyed keeping in touch with them.
Funeral services were conducted at the Bethesda United Methodist Church in Salisbury, MD, on June 29th, by Chaplain Col.(U.S. Army-Ret.)Winfield Dickenson Buzby,Jr., assisted by Rev. Rob Townsend. Chaplain Buzby later performed a brief graveside service at her interment in the Friendship Finley United Methodist Church Cemetery, 252 Centerton Road, Bridgeton, N.J.
