She is survived by her sister, Annette Stertz; her children Stephen Blake, James Blake, Joanne LaMothe, Sandra Blake, Kathleen Kimbrough, Mark Blake, Patricia Winkels, Robin Norton as well as 25 grandchildred, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beloved mother and nana, Alice of the Palace, brought light and inspiration to every life she touched with her love of learning and will to teach. Her witty banter was constant even to the end; she was selfless in affliction and faithful in the face of daunting trials. She exemplified true femininity in all aspects of her life and work; and courageously upheld the faith to pass on to her family. Nana, we will always, always love you.
The rosary and funeral mass were held at Immaculate Conception Church in Post Falls, Idaho.
