Mrs. Myrtle Ethel Lockhart, 81, wife of Dewitt T. Lockhart, Murphy Drive, died Friday at the Mary Chiles Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Menifee County, a daughter of the late John D. and Louella Pitts and a former resident of Dayton, Ohio.
Also surviving are two sons, Lloyd Lockhart, Mt. Sterling, and Larry Lockhart, Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Mack, Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Nelson and Rev. Flower at 1pm Tuesday at the Tobias Funeral Home in Dayton, Ohio. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery there. Local arrangements by Herald & Stewart Home for funerals.
