Alice E. Roose, 88, of Goshen, formerly of CR 26, Elkhart, died at Greencroft Healthcare 11:15 a.m. Wed. March 2, 2011. She was born Sept. 10, 1922 to Walter & Maude (Trump) Musser in Goshen, Indiana. She married Robert S. Roose on Sept. 21, 1940 and he died Nov. 1, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Jeanne (Roger) Sherman, Cicero, son, Don S. (Pam) Roose, Elkhart, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Alice was a homemaker; a clerk at the former Kline's Department Store and a member of the First English Lutheran Church, Goshen.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Mon. March 7, 2011 at the First English Lutheran Church, 406 S. 5th St., Goshen, where the service will be at 11 a.m. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery. Pastor Gene Hollingsworth will officiate. Memorials may be directed to the First English Lutheran Church.
