Sallie Collier Jones (1876-21 Aug 1945) was born the fifth of seven children in Huntsville, Alabama to Paul Llewellyn Jones (1840-1884) and Lucy Thompson (1842-1929.) She married William Danner Thomson (1876-1952) on June 30, 1909 in Huntsville, Alabama. She had two sons, William Sydnor Thomson and Lucien Thomson (1913-2000.) Sallie died unexpectedly in 1945 at home after an illness of several weeks, and is buried at Westview Cemetery.
