Rites Held Monday for Mrs. S. Estes

Mrs. Sarah Ann Estes, 70, of the Brush Creek section, died Saturday, November 8, 1958 at the Park City Nursing Home, after a long illness.
The daughter of the late Mr. Elam Milby and Mrs. Nancy Cantrell Milby, she was born in Green County, November 16, 1878 and is a twin to Benjamin A Milby who survives. She was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to James Brown Easters January 24, 1913 in Green County. He was 43 years of age and a widower. Sarah was 31 years old and had never been married. James Brown preceded her in death May 31, 1940.

Surviving are one step-daughter, Mrs. Synthia McCubbins of Summersville; three foster sons: Eunice Ash, Jasper Giles both of Summersville; Virge McCubbins of Louisville; one brother Ben MIlby of greensburg; two sisters: Mrs. Emma Bale and Mrs. Lissie Bloyd both of Summersville.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at Brush Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in the family cemetery.
Pallbearers were Hollis Ash, Adrian McCubbins, Kendrick McCubbins, E. W. Shelton, Anthony Creason and Ray Milby.
