Hon. Harrison Eaton, a prominent citizen of Amherst, NH, died Saturday night of a paralytic shock, aged 71. He was born at Hillsboro, NH. He was a stove manufacturer at Amherst from 1830 to 1854; then President of the Francestown Soapstone Company of Milford, later of Nashua, until 1882. He had since been engaged in lumbering. He had been building a steam saw and grist mill at Amherst during the last year. He represented Amherst in the State Legislature in 1873, 1874 and 1885, and was a member of the State Senate in 1876.
