Clair F. Felix, 73, of New Paris RD 2, died Sunday,March 11, 1990, at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County.
He was born Feb. 14, 1917, in Napier Twp., son of Dewey and Cora (Rowser) Felix. In addition to his father, of Schellsburg RD, he survived by his Wife, the former Rebecca Feathers, whom he married March 4, 1937.
Also surviving are these children, Robert Dean, married to the former Dorothy Wentz, Alun Bank RD; Shirley, wife of Allen Dixon, Carlisle; and Bruce, married to the former Donna Weyant, Central City.
Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, also survive along with these brothers and sisters: Harry Felix, Alum Bank; Mrs Mary Mowry, Schellsburg RD; Mrs Betty Messersmith, Mckutchenville, Ohio; Homer Felix, New Paris RD 2; John Felix, Dillsburg; Mrs Ruth Fetter, New Paris RD; and Melvin Dean Felix, Schellsburg RD.
He was preceded in death by his mother and three nephews.
Mr. Felix was a former employee of PenDot and had been last employed at Robel Construction in Johnstown.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the Mickle-Giesel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, with the Rev. Grover Stockenus officiating. Burial in Bedford County Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
