Halleck S. Finch, youngest son of the late Isaac Clark and Esther Harrison Finch of Jay, New York, died at the home of his sister, Martha B. Finch, at 2 a. m., Monday, June 29th, 1936. Mr. Finch was born on February 15, 1862, in the same house in which he passed away.

At the age of twenty years Mr. Finch went to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where on March 27th, 1886, he married Miss Emma Dahn. Soon after her death on July 20, 1913, he returned to Jay. For several years he was employed by the Lake Placid Club.

Three months prior to his death, Mr. Finch lost his sight, and he suffered intensely from pain and weakness, which he bore with patience.

He was survived by three sons and two daughters.
