One of the best loved women who ever lived in Jordan, has gone to her reward. " Aunt Kate Baker" has lived 90 years of usefulness and has contributed her share towards making the world better. Mrs. Edwin H. Bond, a sister, survives her; besides several nieces and nephews. She was born in Oneida Castle, and came to Jordan 75 years ago.
Her father & mother, Horace Baker & Alice Parkhurst Baker; and 8 grandchildren, composed the family all having passed on except Mrs. Bond. She died Thursday morning and the funeral will be held at the home of her niece, Mrs. Clarence O. Strickland; Sataurday at 3 p.m. Rev. B.T. Stafford will officiate. Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery.
