She came to Iowa with her parents in March 1893. A few years later she was married to her now sorrowing husband. 2 children were born to them, Bertha and Blanche.
She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church with which she united as a girl in February 1896. She was also a member of the Gleaner class of the Evangelical church of Zearing.
Besides her husband and 2 children she leaves to mourn, her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters, her grandmother and other friends and relatives. To all of these the entire community extends it's heartist sympathy. May the heavenly father comfort and sustain each one.
