Martha Matilda Plane was born to Christmas Plane and Eleanor Elizabeth Woolman in Madoc Twp, Hastings Co., Ontario, Canada.

Martha Matilda "Tillie" PLANE married John Lewis WRIGHT on 8 May 1883 [obit says 1882, which is incorrect] in Limerick Twp, Hastings Co., Ontario, Canada. They soon moved to Sanilac County, Michigan.

They had 11 children, 1 died before 1900, and 10 survived to adulthood. They are as follows:
