Joseph (Giuseppe) Trivelli immigrated in 1874, and was a naturalized American citizen.

This information taken directly from copies of the U.S. Federal Census of 1900 and 1910, in Eureka Co., NV., for the locales of Palisade and Mineral Hill, NV....also notes from the "Eureka Sentinel"...a daily newspaper printed during that era.

Since I never knew my grandfather, through a friend at the Nevada State Historical/Library/Archives Department I was given copies of both the Nevada State Census for that period, and a copy of the newspaper article about my grandfather's death. It states as follows:

From the Eureka Sentinel, printed Saturday, November 11, 1911.

"A telephone dispatch from Palisade yesterday afternoon (this written on Saturday, November 11, 1911) stated that a message had been received there announcing the sudden death of Joseph Trevelli at Mineral Hill that morning. No other particulars were obtainable. The deceased was a pioneer resident of Eureka County. He came to Eureka about 35 years ago from Italy (1873?) and for several years was engaged in the Coal Burning business. When the railroad was started from Palisade to Eureka he established a boarding house and saloon at Mineral Hill Station, and conducted it for many years. During a portion of this period he had a contract and carried the mail from Mineral Station to Mineral Hill. For the last few years he has been conducting a store and saloon at Mineral Hill. He was well known and popular throughout the county, and leaves many friends who will regret to learn of his death.
Deceased was a native of Premia, (Provincia di Navarro) Novara, Piedmonte, Italy, and about 65 years of age." He was of Swiss-Italian heritage.
