Mrs. Nora Pierce –
Mrs. Nora Pierce, 61, of 2636 Alder Street, Eugene, died Thursday, August 8 at a local hospital. She was born October 12, 1884 at Newberg, Oregon. She had lived at Monroe, Newberg and Eugene during most her life.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin W. Pierce, four children of Eugene, Walter H. Pierce, Ethel May Chapman, Fred L. Pierce and Russel W. Pierce; a son Roy E. Pierce of Springfield; a daughter Ann Irene Holman of Springfield; a sister Pearl Newlin of Newberg and an Uncle Green Fowver of Junction City.
Funeral services will be held from the Veach-Hollingsworth mortuary Monday, August 12 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Odfellow Cemetery No. 2.
