Mr. John Springs, a son of the late Col. Baxter Springs, died this morning. The remains will be brought to the city and will be buried in Elmwood Cemetery, at 2 o'clock on Tuesday. The funeral services will be held at the grave.

The Funeral of Mrs. Springs.
The funeral exercises of the late John Springs, were conducted at the grave in Elmwood cemetery, by Dr. A. W. Miller. The body was followed from the Central Hotel by a large party of sympathizing friends. The pall bearers were: Messrs. K. S. Finch, W. H. Justice, W. C. Maxwell, W. R. Taliaferro, John F. Orr, Baxter Myers, Baxter Davidson and Dr. R. J. Brevard.
