Tom was the second of 2 sons, and grew up in Northern California. He turned into a very intelligent, kind, gentle, responsible and compassionate individual. He was devoted to his fraternity brothers at Sigma Phi Epsilon at UC Davis, and as an officer, provided a positive example of what a person might become. He'd be at your side when his presence was requested, to provide a listening ear, comfort, advice, or simply company. After his death, an award named in his honor has been presented every year to he who embodies Tom's best characteristics. The memories of his short life are not forgotten by those he touched.
