Mrs Mary Beavers, wife of James Beavers, died quite suddenly, on Saturday. She had been sick with typhoid-pneumonia but four days. The skill of the physician could do nothing for her. Deceased was born in Valley township and her life of about forty years was spent amid the scenes of her childhood. She was a christian gentlewoman, highly esteemed by all who knew her. Her death leaves a husband to mourn the loss of a true wife and helpmeet, eight children to grieve for the loss of an affectionate mother and a neighborhood which will miss her kindly acts and ever pleasant face.
