Born Sept. 21, 1900, in Casey, IL, she had been a resident of Granite City for 51 years prior to moving to Collinsville nine years ago.
A homemaker, she was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Burris of Madison; two sisters, Blanche Durall of Iuka, IL; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Greene Sr., whom she married April 22, 1922 in Salem, and who died in August 1972; one son William Henry Greene Jr.; her parents, William and Sarah (Short) O'Dell; three brothers, Lester, Elvie and Vern O'Dell; and two sisters, Elsie Mulvaney and Leona Tummelson.
Services were Wednesday at Mercer Mortuary in Granite City with the Rev. Harold Maynard officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Granite City.
