Mrs. Renata B. Jaeger, age 87, of Manitowoc, formerly of Maribel, died early Wednesday morning, February 10, 1993, (on her birthday) at a Manitowoc Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 1993, at the St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Maribel, with Pastor Michael R. Riley officiating and burial in the church cemetery.
Daughter of the late Louis and Julia (Gauger) Bloedorn, she was born February 10, 1906, in Reedsville and was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc County. The former Renata Bloedorn and Alfred Jaeger were married on June 27, 1927, and he preceded her in death March 1, 1980. The couple had farmed in the Town of Maribel. Renata was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Maribel.
She is survived by her children, Herman and Lois Jaeger, Two Rivers, Norma and Larry Horning, Beachwood, Wis., Robert and Shirley Jaeger, Elburn, Ill., Paul and Sandy Jaeger, Ocala, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; three sisters, Lorenda Wagner, Cleveland, Wis., Rida Evenson, Valders, Nora Frisch, Valders; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Bloedorn. Nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Alfred, a daughter, Irma Ronsman, one grandchild, her parents, two sisters, Ruth Zibel, and Arlene Toepl and two brothers, Hubert Bloedorn and Paul Bloedorn.
Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Church until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established. The Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark is handling the arrangements.
